You can get regional Christmas trees every year in Advent at the Johanniskreuz Forestry Office.

By harvesting practically on your doorstep, transport routes are short and trees stays fresh for longer. The Christmas tree areas created by our foresters in the Palatinate Forest thrive without the use of pesticides or fertilizers. Through the sustainable management of all areas, the foresters ensure that Christmas trees are available every year.

At the annual Christmas market of the House of Sustainability on the 3rd weekend in Advent, there is the opportunity to fell trees by yourself. The specially created "Christmas forest" is particularly popular with families. The Christmas forest is open until dark during normal market times.
